Country Manager – Retail Technology Solutions
As Country Manager you will be responsible for leading the company’s operations in the local market, with a strong focus on commercial growth and sales performance. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on business development, ensuring the company strengthens its position as a key technology partner for retailers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the country’s sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market share.
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with retailers, from large chains to mid-sized enterprises.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and C-level executives in the retail industry.
- Recruit, manage, and mentor a commercial team to achieve ambitious sales targets.
- Represent the company in the local market, acting as the primary spokesperson and accountable for results.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs to anticipate opportunities and challenges.
- Collaborate closely with global leadership to ensure alignment with corporate goals and successful localization of the go-to-market strategy.
- Provide regular business reporting, including forecasts, sales performance, and pipeline updates.
Desired Profile
- Proven track record of success in sales and business development within technology solutions or SaaS companies serving retailers.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to negotiate complex, high-value deals.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on delivering measurable results.
- Excellent leadership skills, with experience managing and motivating high-performing teams.
- Strong network and relationships in the retail sector.
- Fluency in English. Additional languages will be an asset.
- Office in Madrid downtown.
